Work

The UK has not had real wage growth since 2008. The negotiating power of workers has reduced. Workers don’t have as much freedom. The policies include:

  • Give workers the freedom to organise unions by repealing acts restricting unions from 1980 - 2016, only keeping legislative amendments that protect workers.

  • Giving every worker the right to join a union in exchange for allocating part of their own tax. Example: a worker in the 20% tax bracket can pay 19% tax and 1% union membership rather than 20%. Union membership remains voluntary. Workers must be informed of this option at their workplace.

  • Right to work remotely for jobs that don’t need physical presence.
